E-Bizz Entertainment India Pvt Ltd implemented the musical show ‘Rehmatein’ on 18th February 2014 at the Shanmukhananda auditorium in Sion. This show was a tribute to the Legendary Ghazal singer Late PadmabhushanShri Jagjit Singhji. Eminent ghazal artists… Padma Shri AnupJalota , Padma Shri Hariharan and Shri Talat Aziz performed at the show. Mr. Karttar Singh, the younger brother of Jagjit Singh, was also launched during the show and who is exclusively now managed by E-Bizz Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd.
Rehmatein is an initiative by ‘Sangeetam’ a charitable trust that helps the artists of the music fraternity by providing monetary support to them. ‘ Sangeetam’ also has a motive of supporting and helping aspiring singers and musicians by giving them scholarships and training by the maestros from the music industry.
The guest of honour for the evening was Mr. Javed Akhtar who inspired the audience by his speech Sonu Nigam, Wajid Ali, Javed Ali, Suresh Wadekar, Jaspinder Narula, Shaadab, Richa Sharma, kavita Seth were a few celebrities from the music industry who attended the show.
This year Sangeetam felicitated 2 living legends of the music world. The renowned music composer and director Padmabhushan Khayyam Saahab and the Ghazal singer Shri Rajendra Mehta.
Rehmatein was presented by Birla Sunlife and powered by TajMahal tea. The Associate partner was State Bank of India. The Co-Partners were Bajaj Group, UTI mutual fund, Bank of Baroda, Bajaj Capital, Bank of India, Union Bank of India and Pine Tree. The exclusive radio partner for the event was 92.7 Big FM.
An after party was arranged for the sponsors, the artists and celebrities at Tote on the Racecourse, Mahalaxmi.
Rehmatein is going global as well as Pan India with several concerts in future..
